When good Americans die, they go to Paris. -Oscar Wilde My name is Autumn, like the season, but most of my family calls me Autumn Taylor. I’m ‘old enough to know better but too young to care,’ and I’m thrilled with the idea that I can finally call myself a Spartan. My future is blurry and if you ask me what I expect to do with my life I’ll smile and tell you I haven’t got a clue, and then change the subject. I love to write poetry, and I try to write prose but my muse frequently walks her Prada pumps right out the door if I get too insistent. I’m a complete sci-fi geek of the worst kind (which is quite a shock to most people) and I can hold my own among fans of Star Wars and Star Trek, thank you. I’m a wrestling fan too (just in case I hadn’t frightened everyone away yet), and when I grow up I want to be Beth Phoenix. I tend to have irrational attractions to the strangest combinations of celebrities at any given time, for instance; Eminem will always be sexy as fuck, Axl Rose holds a very special place in my heart, and Chris Pine can make me melt any day of the week. I think bartending is one of the most fascinating jobs, and I’d like to try my hand at it for a little while, I think I’d be pretty damn good. I love shopping, but only once in a while since I'm a label whore, and when I do go I only buy clothes in shades of grey, black, white, beige, or army green. I think I've sufficiently touched upon at least a few of my many ridiculous passions, so I'll leave it at that. |
